The test above demonstrates the benefits of non-contact measurement of a live structure. No need to close the bridge to augment it with sensors prior to running tests and then having to reverse the installation. Also using Imetrum’s technology multiple measurements were taken at various points across the structure using a single camera.

In post processing it is also possible to add further measurement points that maybe we not captured during the initial test. With traditional contacting sensors this is not possible without starting the installation and testing process from the beginning.
