The Vector Extensometer Range

Imetrum’s Vector systems are non-contact optical extensometers designed for both uniaxial and biaxial strain measurement. They consistently meet or exceed international standards, including ISO 9513 Class 0.5 and ASTM E83 Class B-1. These systems deliver precise, real-time strain measurements across a variety of gauge lengths and environments, without the drawbacks of traditional clip-on devices.

Key advantages include:

  • Reduced setup time and improved safety by eliminating mechanical attachments.
  • High precision performance, even under demanding conditions such as high-temperature testing.
  • Versatility across research, production and specialised test environments.
